With André Brasilier, the bell becomes a masterpiece
Winner of the Prize of Rome in 1953, André Brasilier is part of the French painting tradition, and is recognized internationally for his beautiful paintings, both in France and abroad.

An artist of experience with an independent streak, André Brasilier did not identify himself with any particular aesthetic, and has instead resolutely captured both spirit and form, these two constants of the human creation.

To a large extent, the work of André Brasilier is a tribute to nature with which the artist lives in close communion. To discover the artist and his works, we invite you to visit the website :

The bell St Jacques that we offer in our "Prestigious Bells" collection at www.campanuna.com is a limited edition of a work by André Brasilier as part of a collaboration with the Paccard Bellfoundry. It represents an effigy of Saint Jacques de Compostella. Each of the 99 copies in this limited serie are signed by the hand of the artist, and are perfect for those who already collect the work of André Brasilier or who recognize and embrace fine art.

  Did You Know?

In 1950, the government of the USA chose the Paccard Bellfoundry to make 55 replicas of the original Liberty Bell that is famous for ringing in the independence of America.

The original bell, which was cast in London and ordered by the government of Pennsylvania, cracked just days after arriving in the USA, and a new bell was cast from a bronze of the original by John Pass and John Stow.

The Paccard Bellfoundry is pleased to offer a Campanuna bell which is a one-sixth size replica of the original Liberty Bell.
